Jennifer Ruelens, broker and owner of One Focus Property Management, shared her experience with the LeakAlertor PRO system as a solution to the challenges of managing older rental properties in north central Pennsylvania. With a portfolio of around 650 properties, many of which are over 100 years old, Ruelens highlighted the difficulty of managing utility efficiency, especially when multiple tenants share a single water meter. After discovering the LeakAlertor PRO, she implemented it in about 60 bathrooms in her properties, allowing for real-time monitoring and more informed decisions regarding repairs versus replacements. The system’s ability to track water usage, such as gallons per flush, has enabled Ruelens' to make proactive, cost-effective decisions that prioritize both conservation and the long-term success of her properties.
